J. Fletcher Comer
February 22, 1935 - January 10, 2010
J. Fletcher "Grits" Comer, 74, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Memorial University Medical Center. "Grits" as he was known by his family and friends was born in Alabama and resided in Savannah. He was a retired Contractor.
He is survived by his son, J. Michael Comer, of Savannah, three daughters, Kim Sheridan, of Nashville, TN, Katharine Stansky, of Ellijay, GA, and Wymberley T. Comer, of Altus, OK. He is also survived by his sister, Kitty Proenza, of Coral Gables, FL, and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2010 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors.

Kitty and family, So sorry to hear of your loss. When I was a young man, Fletcher was someone that I liked. I met him again in my 50's and he was still the same. Always something going on with 'Grits'. I'll miss him.
